Sous Chef - Negotiable - Live in available
An elegant hotel located just minutes from the centre of Bath is seeking an experienced Head Chef to join their brigade of 5. The hotel offers 60 superb bedrooms individually furnished in traditional style set in delightful gardens with views over the city.
The hotel boasts an award winning restaurant with AA Rosette serving Bistro style food. The kitchen also services the bar area and conference and banqueting suites. The hotel hosts approximately 14 weddings a year.
The ideal candidate will have previous kitchen experience as either a Chef de Partie or Sous Chef depending on the size of establishment previously worked in. The responsibilities will include staff training, health and safety and to ensure the high level of standards. The Sous Chef will also run the kitchen in the Head Chefs absence.
The successful person will be a team player, have great communication skills and be able to use their own initiative. AA Rosette experience is advantageous but not essential.
